Today I would like to write on Joy. First let’s establish the meaning of joy. Joy is not laughter, I want to make that clear, it’s not excitement.
You can have joy even when some terrible “tragedy” has happened. I was talking with a friend of mine, a few years back, when something had happened to her Grandmother recently. She was feeling very hurt, and unsure. And I was trying to explain, how everything is for God’s purpose, and turns out for good. I told her about how joy, peace, and hope (hope of things not yet seen) were all in similar categories. Thankfully it eased her mind. Joy is a sense of contentment.
Now who can even earn/gain joy? Only believers in Christ can have true joy.
Here is a verse on joy I would like to share with you:
“You have made known to me the path of life, you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm16:11
“Through the woodland, through the valley
Comes a horseman wild and free
Tilting at the windmills passing
Who can the brave young horseman be
He is wild but he is mellow
He is strong but he is weak
He is cruel but he is gentle
He is wise but he is meek”
Our new puppy 🙂
Two crazy thieves break and enter a building only to find that it is occupied by unwilling victims. Will the thieves be able to avoid getting caught in their thievery? Find out now!
This is hilarious!
This is my new blog. I hope that in the coming months, you can read all about what I am doing.
Have a blessed day!
